April Fools

Today was April first and I had a few tricks for my roomies. They got some Orajel in the toothbrush, shaving cream on the car, saran wrap in the doorway, and I even had a certain religous group call my roommate because I told them she was interested in converting.
No harm, fun tricks.
Today wasn't all jokes though. The economy has been terrible and people just aren't buying things, companies aren't making profit - including mine. My position was cut and today was my last day at work. This comes 30 days before the wedding! I trust that God knows what He's doing. This did not take him by surprise. It didn't really surprise me either. I am a bit nervous because Tom and I had already set a financial plan in place to help pay off our debt as fast as we could, but that will be put on a slower track until I find a new job. I am not sure I be searching for a new job right now, only to turn around and tell them I need a week long vacation right after they hire me. Some companies don't care, some just aren't that flexible. We'll see. Any income, any new jobs, it is all up to the Lord. I'll let Him provide - He's better at doing that anyway.
With 4 more weeks until the wedding, I'm just not sure I have time to be stressed out. I can't afford the emotions to freak out and be anxious. I'll be sure to keep you posted!
