Hello all! Things have gotten underway since the last post. I am now more than half way done with my first term at San Joaquin Valley College, already drawing people's blood! My fingers and arms have been quite sore. Tom has put in for an upgrade in the jet, but it doesn't look like there's going to be a class anytime soon. We'll just have to enjoy the senority he has for now. For my 26th birthday, Tom took me out on the lake and made dinner on the boat. It was fun. We had chicken and rice, with shrimp as an appetizer. We used all the camping gear we got from our wedding registry - how cute! After we got home, we got all dressed up and went to a nice restaurant for a drink.
I start volunteering at the Children's Hospital next week. I am going to be a greeter in the NICU center, which is exactly where I wanted to be! The Lord is good. NICU is the neo-natal intensive care unit. I am not sure I'll be dealing with the babies as much as I will the parents. I am looking forward to it. Other than that, not much is going on. Tom is in the garage right now doing his wood working, Payton is at my feet tired as can be from this morning's run, and I am about to study and probably do some painting. Until next time!
