We spent a week in Maui for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! Maui has just enough to do and not to do. The weather was great, we relaxed, spent time in the sun, went to the top of a volcano (inactive) and watched the sunrise then rode bikes down the mountain. We snorkeled in the bluest water ever, swam with turtles and drove the road to Hana. Hana is a small town on the other side of the island and you have to take this nearly one-way road, 20+ switchbacks, to get there. It took all day, but we got to see the rainforest and waterfalls. We were blessed this entire trip, starting with a sweet and romantic "first night," First Class seats to Maui, an upgrade on our rental car, an ocean view room and we even met someone who was able to give us a deal to one of the islands best luau's. Maui is expensive to visit though. Eating out will empty your bank quicker than the tide will pull you out to sea! It was so much fun and of course I wish I never had to leave. I am sure we'll go back someday, and I can't wait. I can't wait for other excursions as husband and wife. God is so, so good.
